The Pencil of Irony

I'm a sucker for geekdom — if it involves spaceships, magic, demonic entities, or the unexplained, I'll at least take a look at it. My sense of humour leans towards irony and sarcasm, heavily influenced by British comedy (or maybe I like British comedy because of my sense of humour?), and I am unashamed about talking to myself, talking to inanimate objects, talking to animals, singing at random, writing fanfiction, and occasionally doing any of the above in foreign languages. I've sort of made it a point to be weird, though appearance-wise, you'd never know. I'm also a proud Canadian, except when the government does something really stupid.

I'm young enough to still think I can make a difference and that anything is possible, but old enough (or jaundiced enough, I'm not sure) to know that's probably not going to happen, no matter how hard I try.
